Welcome to my Anwick & Billinghay local study project. My study is a combination of local history and family history records from the seventeenth century onwards, both villages are very significant to my family history and hold many fond memories. Anwick is where my Jackson family can be traced from 1550. Over time they moved as far away to the USA, and to local villages. Anwick & Billinghay History
The Rillington One-Place Study began in 2004 and is a synthesis of local history, family history, house history and population studies captured in a timeline from Domesday to the present day. It focuses on the parish of Rillington which includes the township of Rillington and the Chapelry of Scampston whose joint history is inextricably linked. Rillington & Scampston History
A collector of old photos and a lover of family history, I combine both with blogs about the photos I find at Fleamarkets and Fairs. Lynns Waffles
